La Madre (Mother) who has engendered us all – deserves our praise and this contemporary youthful, refreshing vermouth. La Madre is made from 32 botanicals, with 22 being native to the region. Maceration takes place in clay amphorae to make the essence, or La Madre (Mother), the base for the vermouth. La Madre is aged for a few months in barrels. To make the vermouth, the essence is blended with carefully selected wines from the region, White Grenache and Macabeo.
