About
As one of the major wine publications once wrote, “All Oregon Pinot Noirs are measured against the Ponzi yardstick.” That benchmark has held for more than 50 years, as the Ponzi family has farmed 140 acres of certified sustainable vineyards planted entirely on Laurelwood soils. Working alongside neighboring growers, they played a central role in establishing Oregon’s first soil-based AVA, the Laurelwood District. Today, Ponzi Vineyards stands as a standard-bearer of Oregon wine from the Willamette Valley, dedicated to crafting low-intervention wines that reflect site, season, and legacy. Native fermentations, gravity-flow production, and restrained oak use allow estate-grown fruit—farmed to organic standards and LIVE certified across all estate vineyards—to speak for itself. Now part of Groupe Bollinger, Ponzi Vineyards remains deeply connected to Oregon, with a continued focus on sustainability, community, and elevated Pinot Noir.
