Proof and Wood Ventures invests in and develops spirits brands and ages their own spirits. The core of their business is sourcing and bottling fine American whiskies, including many award-winning whiskies, but they are also an importer of high-quality spirits from around the world.

Founder Dave Schmier is delighted to be able to create both cocktail-friendly bottlings for value-focused bartenders and high-end collectors’ editions for connoisseurs.

As a blender and finisher of fine spirits, two things are extremely important to any spirit flavor, the proof it’s bottled at, and the wood of the barrel they age it in, hence the name Proof and Wood.
