1010’s story begins in Barcelona, Spain. Back in 2013, the multinational corporation they were working for was making changes at the management level. After a long and stressed day, they were in the mood for a cocktail, but wasn’t sure they had all the ingredients at home, so they headed to a liquor store to buy a Ready-To-Drink cocktail. They asked the guy working there, who resulted in not being an employee but a well-known bartender, “I am looking for the best RTD cocktail you have, which one would you recommend?”, and the guys goes, “honestly, none of them…” They couldn’t believe it, and asked him, “are you serious? I see a lot of brands here” and he said “yep, but believe me, none of them worth a dime, if anyone can put out there a really premium RTD cocktail, it would be a hit”.
